I cannot find my destination in your online booking form. What to do?
Fill the request for quote form and we'll contact you (by phone or email) to inform you about the price and ask for your confirmation. The process for a custom transfer request usually takes less than 12h. For last minute transfers please contact us directly.

We have lots of luggage, a mountain bike, a golf bag - will there be room?
Each passenger has an allowance of no more than two luggage items, including golf bags. If you are bringing a mountain bike or surf board please notice us in the message box in the booking form or to the contact page.

What papers do i have to show to the driver on the airport?
You have to show the printed voucher ( email confirmation ). If you choose to pay online through Paypal, you have to show to the driver the printed receipt of payment ( confirmation of payment ).

How far in advance do airport pick-ups need to be booked?
Normally we require 24 - 48 hours notice.

How can I cancel or make amendments to my already booked transfer?
You can do so by calling us directly or by sending an email with your transfer ID until 4pm (Funchal Airport (FNC) Local Time) of the transfer previous day.

How do we find the driver after arriving?
At the airport you will be met in the arrivals area by a representative of Low-Cost-Transfers with your name written on a board. If you do not see the airport rep as you come out of the arrivals area then you may call us.

How do I pay?
You pay the driver in the airport; in cash [euro or £ sterling] or by credit card. We accept VISA, MasterCard, American Express and Diners.

If your flight is delayed there is no need to worry - we always confirm flight directly with airport and will be waiting until you arrive.

Are the passengers insured?
All drivers, passengers and vehicles are fully licensed and insured by the DGT/DGV.

We do not want to drive from the airport but would like to hire a car at our destination, can you arrange this?

How long will the driver wait for us to clear customs?
The driver will normally wait for 60 minutes before making enquiries with the airline, immigration and making a paging call. Only after all this and if there is no sign of the passengers will the driver leave the airport. If you are delayed in customs or baggage for more than 30 minutes after arrival please call our office on (00 351) 916 053 420 to ensure that the driver will wait for you.

How many people can travel in one of your cars?
Only a maximum of four people can travel in a standard sized car, mini buses are available at an increased cost. This includes small children who count as one passenger for insurance purposes.
